Walter Rabon attended the F. W Wheeler school, then went on to Prairie View A&M where he studied for 3 years. He served in the army as well and wanted to pursue a career in writing. He did author a murder mystery published by Vantage Press, but sadly did not live to see it published.
Walter's uncle David Busby, of Wortham regards the appearance of the book as a memorial to his talented nephew.
