PET  REGISTRATION:

Wortham City Ordinance 619-063 requires all pet owners living in Wortham to register their pets with the City each year in January. A valid registration allows Wortham to quickly locate you and ensure that your pet is safely returned to you if you lose your pet.
Annual vaccinations ensure the health of your pet and the safety of our community.
Vaccinate and register your pet on time to avoid late fees and/or citations.
                               
                                   FEES/CHARGES
Spayed/neutered pets - $2.00 each. This includes dogs/cats over 4 mo.
Not spayed/neutered pets - $5.00 each renew your pet's registration at our office Monday-Friday 7:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. or by mail. Bring/mail the payment along with a copy of your pet's current
rabies vaccination certificate. Make the check or money order out to City of Wortham
All impoundment fees shall be $35.00 payable to the City of Wortham.
The owner of any cat or dog held in quarantine for observation purposes shall be charged five dollars ($5.00) for every day or fraction of a day an animal is in quarantine. This is in addition to any impoundment fees.
